WCEE LUNCH & LEARN SERIES PRESENTS
A Modern Concept of Energy Security:
How Technology and Innovation are shifting our Security Paradigm
The security of the energy industry has been much in the news in recent years, after decades of safe business-as-usual. The advance of new technologies and the introduction of new players and new potential interactions on the grid have made the industry very aware of threats and potential game changers. Cyber security and physical security are just two of the constant concerns of those who manage the industry's assets.
Speakers at the event will be:
• Peter "Pete" Tseronis, Founder and CEO, Dots and Bridges LLC;
formerly Chief Technology Officer, US Department of Energy
• Jeff Lane, Counsel, Dentons
From 2010 to 2013, Mr. Lane served as the Assistant Secretary for Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs at the US Department of Energy. In this role, he was the department's chief liaison to the US Congress.
