Sustainable Farming and Spirits:
An educational networking event in support of
local sustainable farming and vineyards
Thursday, February 23rd, 2017 at 6:30 pm
Take a midwinter break to network and hear the enlightening stories of environmentally responsible farms and wineries while their spirits help lift yours!
The Vineyards at Dodon, Willow Oaks Craft Cider and Wine (Country Pleasures Farm) and Teavine will share their stories, philosophies, experience and their product. Learn about how they came to be sustainable environmentally responsible beverage producers and what challenges they face.
And, you are invited to enjoy the fruits of their labor while you learn and network with members of at least three organizations: Women's Council on Energy and the Environment (WCEE), the Air and Waste Management Association, and DC EcoWomen.
Come sample wines and seasonally appropriate cider, meet new friends, and learn about local sustainable farming.
