Kate Courtin is an Operations Specialist for Climate Partnerships at The Nature Conservancy, where she offers project management, research and analytical support for TNC's U.S. climate portfolio and related corporate engagement strategy. Prior to TNC, Kate spent four years as a project manager with The Horinko Group, an environmental consulting firm based in Washington DC. There she contributed to numerous client engagements related to environmental cleanups, sustainable materials management, green infrastructure, energy, and various other topics. Kate has been an active member of WCEE since 2014 and is also the volunteer lead for marketing and communications with another DC-based non-profit, the Water Resources Action Project. Kate holds a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in Science, Technology and International Affairs with a concentration in Energy & the Environment.
