WCEE is proud of the many educational and professional networking experiences we have provided our members over the course of the last year. The value of these member-benefits is reflected in WCEE's continued, exponential growth. We currently have over 700 members, representing an increase of almost 200 members in the last year alone!

WCEE is committed to its mission to provide consistently high-quality, nonpartisan and policy neutral forums for dialogue on cutting-edge energy and environmental issues and to foster the personal and professional growth and leadership abilities of our members. We do all of this at a very small cost to our members and with very little overhead.

Corporate and individual contributions to WCEE provide much needed revenues that are used in a variety of ways to keep membership costs to a minimum. Donated funds are used to defray costs of the many WCEE events that are provided at little to no charge for members and are also used to support the administrative costs of the organization.

Please consider giving WCEE a charitable contribution that will help us to continue in our mission.

WCEE is a 501(c)(3) organization and contributions, including membership dues, are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

Matching Gifts

Many employers offer matching gift programs for their employees (and sometimes for retirees and employees' spouses). These matching gift programs allow you to double your contribution to WCEE. It allows your employer to support organizations that their employees value.

Companies match either at the time of the donation or after the donation has been made. So, if you've already made a gift to WCEE, there may still be time to have your company match your gift.

The process for matching gifts varies by company, so you will need to consult your company's human resources or community relations department for guidelines and forms to set up your matching gift. Receipts will be provided upon request.

Requesting Corporate Sponsorship

WCEE has an annual corporate fundraising drive that culminates at our Woman of the Year Gala dinner. This year we celebrate our 28th Woman of the Year Award (WOY) Gala on Thursday March 5th, 2009 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. WCEE is proud to announce that we will honor Denise Bode as our 2009 Woman of the Year. We are especially pleased to honor Ms. Bode for her service in the public sector, her accomplishments in the private sector, and her recent success as an advocate for the natural gas industry.

WCEE sponsorship is not just about an annual dinner, our mission is to provide members with educational and networking opportunities for professional growth that assists them in their careers every day. YOU could be instrumental in helping to support that mission by approaching your corporation for sponsorship of this event.

There are two levels of corporate sponsorship: Sustaining and Angel.

A Sustaining Sponsor contribution is $5,000. The Sustaining Sponsor receives ten (10) tickets (one table) at WCEE's Woman of the Year Gala dinner, ten (10) WCEE memberships and thanks in our monthly newsletter, on the WCEE website and in all pre-event publicity.

An Angel Sponsor contribution is $10,000. The Angel Sponsor receives ten (10) tickets (one table) at WCEE's Woman of the Year Gala dinner, twenty (20) WCEE memberships, and thanks in our monthly newsletter, on the WCEE website and in all pre-event publicity.
