WCEE's
(WIL) WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP POLICY
The
Women in Leadership (WIL) series
gives WCEE members the opportunity
to interact on a personal level
with leaders in the energy and
environmental fields. Such events
provide WCEE members with the
opportunity to meet with exceptionally
high-level women in government
and private industry. These
events are typically provided
to the membership at no cost.
The WIL Series events permit
WCEE members to learn more about
the speaker, ask general career-path
related questions, and pursue
philosophical or policy questions
appropriate to the speaker's
expertise. WIL events are not
intended to be an opportunity
to advance specific positions
or interests of individual WCEE
members, their employers, or
their clients.
The Board expects each member
attending these events to accept
responsibility for maintaining
the cordial atmosphere of these
events and refrain from pursuing
individual and professional
agendas. The Board also directs
WIL event organizers to circulate
this policy to participants
and to maintain a congenial
atmosphere.
