2026 WCEE Connects: Speed Networking Event

Join the WCEE community on Thursday, September 10th for a speed networking happy hour, hosted by Dentons.  We'll meet at their office at 5:00 pm to enjoy light drinks and snacks. At 5:30 pm, networking will kick off with three rounds of brief, one-on-one conversations where we'll pair you with new contacts.  

This free event is open to all. It's also a great opportunity to meet the WCEE board of directors and other members in the environment and energy fields! Finally, this speed networking also marks the start of WCEE’s 2026 Connects Networking Program for our members.  Stay tuned for more information on that offering.

Date: Thursday, September 10th

Time: 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Location: Dentons,1900 K St NW, Washington DC 20006 

Check-in: A check-in table will be in the lobby of 1900 K Street that will direct attendees to the event room.

Closest Metro Stops: Farragut West Station (Orange/Silver/Blue, exit onto 18th & I), or Farragut North Station (Red, exit to K Street).

Parking: There is a parking garage directly under the building, but it has limited parking. There are several larger, cheaper lots within a 1-2 block radius. Be sure to check the closing times for these parking facilities as some close at 7pm sharp.

Participation Fee: $0 Members/Non-Members, but registration is required.
