Alice Grabowski, Project Director, The Pew Charitable Trusts

Alice Grabowski is WCEE's Past President and has been a member since 2004. In August 2019, she offered to take on the Interim Development & Fundraising Section Chair role. She previously served as Vice President, Secretary, Board Treasurer and co-editor of the WCEE online newsletter. 

Alice is a project director at the Pew Charitable Trusts and has more than 20 years’ experience in organizational development and program management, much of it from her work with environmental nonprofits. Prior to Pew, Alice directed operations for the international nonprofit Nethope.  She was also on staff at the US Forest Service’s Office of International Programs and served as the Managing Director of the Coalition for Smarter Growth and Executive Director of ISAR: Resources for Environmental Activists. She has traveled extensively in the former Soviet Union, working with environmental advocates and community leaders on a range of issues related to environmental conservation and protection.

Alice served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Russia and she holds a BA in International Studies from the University of Dayton.
