From the Editor
The autumn energy calendar seems fuller than usual: starting with protests against the Keystone XL pipeline and moving along with new proposed legislation, new EPA regulations, studies on shale gas, questions about the future of nuclear energy, energy jobs and infrastructure plans. Energy has even made its appearance in the presidential debates. WCEE is gearing up to match that schedule with a series of events and newsletter items.


To help do that, we have changed the format for the newsletter. Hopefully it is easier to read with less scrolling and more links. This format will also allow us to include more articles and more content.


Let us know what you think. As always, we welcome your suggestions for issues to cover, ideas for events, and notes about what our members doing, writing, or working on. If you would like to write an article or opinion piece, just drop me a note:
